Guest Wi-Fi (Hotspot) Privacy Notice

As Güncel Yazılım Bilgisayar ve Elektronik San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("Güncel Yazılım"), we would like to inform you about the personal data processed while you use our guest Wi-Fi (hotspot) service, within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed through Such Publications.

The following personal data is processed as part of our guest Wi-Fi (hotspot) service:

• Identity data: name, surname (where requested on the login screen)
• Contact data: mobile phone number, email address
• Transaction security data: IP address, MAC address, session start and end times, connection duration
• Internet traffic data: log records kept under Law No. 5651

• Fulfilling legal obligations under Law No. 5651
• Retaining internet access logs for the statutory period
• Ensuring network security and preventing misuse
• Providing and managing the guest internet service
• Responding to information requests from authorised public institutions and organisations
• Establishing evidence in legal disputes

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds:

• Expressly provided by law: keeping internet access logs is mandatory under Law No. 5651 and the related regulations
• Legal obligation: processing is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligation
• Legitimate interest: ensuring network security, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject

In accordance with Law No. 5651 and the related legislation, internet access logs are retained for at least 2 (two) years. At the end of this period, the data is deleted or anonymised in accordance with the Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy.

Within the scope of the guest hotspot service, your personal data may be transferred, only within the framework of legal obligations, solely to authorised public institutions and organisations (courts, the Information and Communication Technologies Authority, law enforcement, etc.) in accordance with Article 8 of the KVKK.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed
• To request information if your personal data has been processed
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose
• To know the third parties to whom the data is transferred domestically or abroad
• To request correction if the data has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
• To request deletion or destruction of the data
• To request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing
