Security Camera Recording Privacy Notice

As Güncel Yazılım Bilgisayar ve Elektronik San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("Güncel Yazılım"), acting as the data controller within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data relating to the video recordings obtained through our security cameras.

The following personal data is processed through security cameras:

• Visual records: Security camera footage
• Physical premises security data: Entry-exit records, camera recording date and time

Security camera recordings are processed for the following purposes:

• Ensuring the physical security of the workplace and its surroundings
• Preventing crime and contributing to criminal investigations
• Establishing evidence in potential legal disputes
• Fulfilling occupational health and safety obligations
• Ensuring the safety of employees, visitors and customers
• Providing information to authorised persons, institutions and organisations

Security camera recordings are processed without requiring your explicit consent, based on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5, paragraph 2 of the KVKK:

• Processing being mandatory for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations
• Processing being mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right
• Processing being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject

Our company's security cameras are positioned in the following areas:

• Building entrances and exits
• Parking areas
• Common areas (corridors, lobby, stairs, etc.)
• Storage and archive areas
• Server rooms and security-critical areas

No camera recording is carried out under any circumstances in private areas such as restrooms or changing rooms. Warning signs are displayed in areas monitored by cameras.

Security camera recordings are retained for the period required by the purposes of processing and within the framework of our legal obligations. In general, camera recordings are kept for a maximum of 30 (thirty) days and are automatically deleted at the end of this period. However, in the context of any incident or investigation, the relevant recordings may be retained for the necessary period.

In order to achieve the purposes stated above, security camera recordings may be transferred only to authorised public institutions and organisations (courts, law enforcement, etc.), our legal advisors and the suppliers from whom we receive security services, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed
• To request information if your personal data has been processed
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
• To know the third parties to whom the data is transferred domestically or abroad
• To request the correction of your data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
• To request the deletion or destruction of your data within the framework of the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK
• To request compensation for damages incurred due to unlawful processing
